2014 Goals

Better late than never. I’ve added a goals page to keep wholesale jerseys myself motivated. A little explanation:

Maintain work for at least 10 months:
This is going to be a hard goal to meet. Emergency? I’m rising the ranks as a television editor and post production on a show usually lasts 4-6 months; then you have to find another gig. In 2013 I got cheap nba jerseys a great credit, but spent 4 straight months looking for work afterwards. I’m adding to my resume all the time and hoping work will be easier to come by in wholesale mlb jerseys the future. During my time off, I learned about dividend growth investing. Of course I had no income. I’m currently editing at a new network I’ve been with since October. I have no current out date and could possibly be there for a while.

Invest an average of $1,750 a month:
My profession is volitile. After yearly expenses, if I work for 10 months, I should be able to hit this goal. I hope to get another raise this year on top of constant work major and blow this goal away!

Recieve $750 in dividends:
Already wholesale nba jerseys a quarter of the year has passed so I’m not sure where I’ll land here. As of writing this, my expected forward annual income is $413.70. My total for all of 2013 was $61.12. I Begin passed my 2013 total in February. Here’s hoping I reach my goal!

Work on something I’m passionate about:
This blog will fill part of this need. Also, I got into professional editing after writing, Psicología directing, and editing a bunch of my own work for the love of it. After working on countless reality shows for a paycheck, I have become completely uninspired. My goal is to make a new show or film that I’m passionate about, and on my own terms.

How are your goals coming along this year?

Those are some great goals Ryan. Certainly investing an average of $1,750 per month will put you well on your way towards hitting that $750 in dividends. Personally, with you already being at $432 in forward dividends, I’d expect you to blow that out of the water given the rate in which you are investing.

    WTR,

Great to see you again, thank you for the support!! 🙂

I sure hope you’re right about blowing this years dividends goal out of the water!! That would be truly amazing after making $68 in 2013. Hopefully this year will help me better understand what I can expect on that front, I found this particular goal very hard to try to predict. Here’s hoping we can find some good values in the coming days and months!

    I appreciate you stopping by!!!

I hear you on predicting what kind of growth you can expect for you dividends. I had an idea when I first started investing but it’s still difficult. I had no idea that working as a tv editor was such a volatile job, of course you’re the first person I’ve heard of that works in that industry. Well someone that I could realistically talk to. I have to agree with w2r though that if you can hit the $1,750 per month goal you’ll pass the dividends goals as well. Keep up the good work!

      JC!

Thanks for your words of support. I’m excited to watch the payouts come in this year. You’ve set a great example by being only 2.5 years in and having mind-blowing YOY February dividend income. Amazing!

I’m very hopeful that my editing career will get better soon; there is a lot of potential if I can really master it.

      All my best,
      Ryan

    Ryan,

Best of luck with your goals this year! I hope work stays pretty steady for you so you are able to take some hefty stacks of cash and put it to work. 🙂

And I agree with W2R, I think you’ll blow past your goal if you’re able to invest at that rate.

    Best wishes!

      Jason!

I’m a bit blog starstruck! Hehe, thank you very much for taking the time to stop by and for the words of encouragement. I’ve been watching your dividends roll in for quite some time now and I can’t wait to see mine grow bigger! Thanks again for introducing me to the DGI strategy 🙂

I appreciate the well wishes with my job situation; it should get better as I earn more credits. Maybe I can one day work on some shows or films that I’m passionate about and get paid while doing it! Hopefully by then, I will be well on my way to FI and have the best of both worlds! 🙂

      Wishing you well,
      Ryan
